The Election Observation Mission established by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) issued on Tuesday an intermediate report on elections in Moldova. In its report the Mission noted the development of post-electoral situation in Moldova.
The Mission notes that "EOM also attempted to verify a limited number of cases of alleged fraudulent voting based on deficiencies of the voter lists". "While most cases appeared credible, the documentation provided by the opposition to substantiate these claims was limited in scale, and to make a comprehensive analysis it is necessary for a conclusive assessment" - says the EOM report.
According to Mission's report, "20 communications about complaints were received concerning basically the violations of voting procedures and agitation outside of the polling sections".
In the report notes that OSCE/ODIHR will continue to monitor the post-electoral events and will prepare a final report, including a number of recommendations in approximately two months after the completion of electoral process.
